My Studio
Welcome. I’m Noa, the founder of Noa Pilates Studio, established in 2025 in the Outeirinho neighborhood at the heart of Ericeira. My boutique studio is a thoughtfully designed, modern, and aesthetic space where Reformer and Mat Pilates come together in small, intimate classes.
I am dedicated to providing personalized attention and guiding clients toward greater strength, balance, and a deeper connection to their bodies.
I invite you to join me for a professional, mindful, and empowering Pilates experience in a warm, beautifully designed, and welcoming environment.

Physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness.

About Me
My love for movement began at a young age, with a passion for both teaching and sports. As a child, I spent many years in the Scouts, where I developed leadership skills and enjoyed guiding others. At the same time, I was always passionate about sports, participating in gymnastics and joining the athletics team in high school. This combination of teaching and movement shaped my lifelong love for fitness and connecting with others.
As I approached my mandatory military service in Israel, I decided to combine my love for teaching and sports. I applied for the Combat Fitness Instructor Course and served as a fitness instructor in the Israeli Air Force, where I trained recruits and cadets. This experience taught me discipline, resilience, and the power of working with others.
After my service, I became a certified gym instructor and worked as both a personal trainer and a fitness coach for two years. While I loved my work, I felt the need to seek something deeper in movement.
That's when I discovered Pilates 15 years ago. The practice offered the depth I was looking for, and I became fully immersed in learning. I completed mat and equipment Pilates, anatomy, and posture courses. I also pursued a bachelor’s degree in physical education, specializing in correct posture and rehabilitation, and later earned a master’s degree in humanities education, because I believe in the strong connection between mind and body.
After seven years of teaching physical education in schools and 13 years of instructing Pilates at various studios, I opened my own Reformer Pilates studio in Israel. Unfortunately, a year later, the war in Israel forced me to close it and relocate to Portugal with my husband and our two children. Today, in my new studio in Ericeira, I continue to teach Pilates and pursue my dream.
Pilates is more than just a workout; it’s a journey of self-discovery and personal growth.

Types of Classes at the Studio
My studio offers two types of classes:
In my Mat Pilates classes, I focus on using body weight to build strength, flexibility, and posture. The exercises target core muscles, enhance balance, and promote mindful movement. I draw inspiration from yoga, movement, and functional training, integrating elements from these practices to add flow and depth to the workout. I also use props like balls, foam rollers, and resistance bands to add variety and challenge. Inspired by Joseph Pilates, the class emphasizes control, precision, and proper alignment. Suitable for all fitness levels, modifications are provided to ensure everyone can participate.
My Reformer Pilates classes use the reformer machine to provide support and resistance for an effective workout. The versatile reformer features a sliding carriage, adjustable springs, and straps, allowing various movements that engage deep muscles and improve alignment, flexibility, and strength.
With a maximum of four participants per class, everyone receives personalized attention to ensure proper form. The reformer is suitable for all ages and fitness levels, offering support for beginners and challenges for advanced practitioners. This class focuses on precision and control, providing an exciting approach to Pilates.
These one-on-one sessions are perfect for those who prefer a more personalized approach, have specific goals, or need modifications due to injury or other conditions. Private sessions allow customized workouts tailored to your needs and ensure individual attention throughout your practice.
Special Classes in the Schedule
This class is tailored for pregnant women, focusing on strength, flexibility, and posture. The gentle and safe exercises help alleviate common discomforts like back pain and swelling. Key aspects include strengthening the pelvic floor, improving circulation, preparing for childbirth, and breathing and relaxation techniques. Each movement is chosen to ensure safety for both mother and baby.
These classes are ideal for beginners or those refreshing their Pilates practice. They focus on core strength, flexibility, and proper alignment with simple, modified exercises to build a solid foundation before advancing.
These classes are for those with back pain, recovering from injuries, or dealing with chronic pain. They focus on gentle movements to improve posture, strengthen the core, and relieve tension, aiding rehabilitation and preventing future injuries for a safe return to activity. Participation in these classes requires prior consultation with your doctor to ensure they are suitable for your condition.
Pilates exercises for new mothers to strengthen the body after childbirth while keeping the baby close. Emphasis on core recovery and pelvic floor rehabilitation. Suitable for mothers 6 weeks postpartum (vaginal birth) or 8 weeks postpartum (cesarean). Baby-friendly exercises use the baby's weight for resistance to enhance bonding.
